It's been far to long!

We interrupt this regularly scheduled silent blog with a new post! LOL

Sorry to be absent lately. I'm still not sure what happened to May?

Things have been a buzz around here. Nothing particularly good or bad just busy. End of the school year paperwork jam, baseball games, added a side job for travel $ (I'll post more on that later) but you get the idea.

On the adoption front I'm happy to say we FINALLY have our fingerprint appointments scheduled for May 28 (Emily's 7th birthday). We are very happy to be yet another step closer to bringing Lia Home. Yippie!!!
In the midst of "my so called crazy life" I stopped dead in my tracks feeling like I had to share this verse with all of you. It's a great one via a bible study by Beth Moore (man I love to listen to her!)

32Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. 33Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. 34You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.
35So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
~Hebrews 10:32-36

This my friends is just what I plan to do! Please keep us in your prayers this week and next without going into to much detail, Jason could sure use them.

  1. "...without going into much detail...." - no dear lady - that is going into NO detail! Regardless - what you wish to consider private is VERY FINE with us - and prayers for that which you hold in your heart are offered! You guys are cool - glad to hear that things are going well - and if you don't post before hand - Happy Birthdy Emily!

    hugs - aus and co.
