Today marks five months we've been trying to bring Lia home. How I wish she were home. To say the journey has been an uphill battle financially would be the understatement of the year. I have FAITH that somehow....someway God has a plan for us and things will look up soon. I'm praying daily for strength, guidance, and for the LORD to move in the hearts of those who would help bring Lia home.
I believe there must be a reason for all of this but today the "bottom dropped out" so to speak. I can't go into detail now for fear it may stall our adoption progress. But I'm begging all of you who read and followed our journey to PLEASE PRAY now.
I don't usually ask for help but we need all your prayers now more than ever before. If you have some spare time please get. on. your. knees. and pray for us, for Lia, for faith, for guidance, for strength, and peace in the midst of this storm.
I do believe everything will all work out. I know there is a reason for all this even though I can't make sense of it now and I hope to share the story someday of how your prayers moved this mountain.

"... Once our eyes are opened,we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act ..." -- ~Proverbs 24:12

Oh Amanda, you can count on prayers from me. I know too well about the "bottom dropping out." Please let me know if there is ANYthing I can do.

Our enemy hates adoption and battles hard. Praise God, HE is bigger and has already won! I'll be praying like crazy!
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you my sweet friend. PLEASE stay the course. The enemy is trying to keep Lia where she is as an orphan. GOD CAN AND WILL MOVE MOUNTAINS. HIS heart is for the orphan. You guys will have Lia home safe and sound. Ride the storm out and just wait to see what God has in store. He will bless you in ways you never thought possible. HOLD ON!!!
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Amy

Oh Amanda~
ReplyDeleteI am more than happy to join the fight against the enemy! We know all too well what financial pressures loom in the adoption world. We still have a large sum of money needed before we travel, and are looking soley to the One who called us to see us through! Hang in there sweet one. Know this: "The One who calls you is faithful. He will make it happen." ~ I.Thes. 5:24
Put on the full armour and fight the good fight! Your sweetie is worth it!!!
Blessings and Hugs,
~ Tanya
