PA DAY!!!!!!!

Happy doesn’t even begin to explain how we are feeling at this moment. Jason and I are on cloud nine to announce the PA (pre-approval) came from China today! It feels so "official" now that we are pre-approved to adopt Lia!

Now, to complete our dossier paperwork in record time! Our hope is to travel in May or early June to bring Lia home.

Thanks, everyone for your all prayers!

  2. Congratulations on the PA! Doesn't it feel great to know you are one step closer to your daughter? I have been following your story for a couple of weeks now and it is so similar to ours. We have started both of our adoptions with no money and have and are completely relying on FAITH to see us through.

I also wanted to let you know that when I saw Lia sitting on the yellow slide my heart melted not only because she is adorable, but because we were sent her file right after we "lost" the referral of a little boy. We were pretty much set on bringing home a son this time, but I remember thinking that if He said we were to add another daughter she would be the one. I am so thankful to know she has a family and a faithful one at that.

    Blessings,
    Mandi

  5. Good morning Amanda - you can look forward to us being regular visitor's to your blog - as a fellow QD adoption family! Thanks so much for your e-mail last night - I've had a chance to read your blog from 'cover to cover' - and dang - we're pleased to meet you! Suffice to say that 'except for our ages' - we are all not that different a family as you are (all be it on our third adoption however!). If there is anything we can do - any questions that we can help you with - please - don't hesitate to ask!

Blessings on your journey - congrats on your PA - looking forward to 'traveling with you'!

    hugs - aus and co.

  6. I have a neice that my sister adopted from China. They flew home last September with her. The wait was long- but oh my goodness - so worth the wait. Kimberly is very special and a joy. I true girly girl with a strong personality. They had to stay in China for 2 weeks and enjoyed the stay except for their son who was adopted from Korea 3 years before had to stay home with nana and papa! Hope all is going well and you have a Happy Holidays and your travel date comes soon.
